How is this rude to my friends?

Me and my friend and going to LA in less then amonth and she told me today that. because I keep going shopping and getting new clothes I'm just rude because she can't Get new stuff like that's my fault. She was not joking and I happen to know for a fact that her mom got her 3 new outfits for the trip and we are grown women and I buy my own stuff and her mommy got her some. So what since does me being rude make it ain't like I'm buying flashy and she's taking rags. And she earns just as much as I do she just let's her man tell her how much to spend and I get what I want as long as my bills are paid and my husbands fine with it. Then who cares.
