Is LATINO/HISPANIC a race?

No,the term Latin(Latino means Latin in Spanish)or Hispanic is not a "race". In the United States it's simply an umbrella term that lumps all people of Latin America(regardless of race) into one category.The racial population of Latin America includes Whites,Blacks,American Indians,Asians and mixed race peoples.In other words the racial population is very diverse just like the racial population of the United States is very racially diverse.
