IPOD 4 DISPLAY TROUBLE!!!?

my 2 month old ipod 4, in great condition, has suddenly a faltered screen, whenever i click the lock button consecutively twice, the screen gets these flashy lights and my background becomes distorted. Also part of my screen (to the right) has noticeable flickers and this really annoys me considering it was so much money. What should i do??? please help
