Is a supra too flashy?

As i am 15 and starting to look at cars, i've been interested in the 1993-96 supra. It seems like a very cool car and is easily modified. i understand that the insurance for this car will be high. But is this car too flashy and sporty for a first car? I want to have a car that preforms well, but is not too flashy and not the best looking car out there because im not that kind of guy. Tell me your thoughts. And pricing? anyone have any ideas on prices for this car used (the 93-96 versions)? Thanks
