Do any senior ladies recall the Trixie Belden books?

I seem to recall she was like Nancy Drew, only younger and less flashier (read that, she had no "roadster"). Also, does anyone remember the books Double Date and Double Wedding, etc? They were about identical twins who had very different personalities, and I used to haunt the junior high school library to find them.
