What do you think of this perspective on children wearing uniforms in school?

I had to wear a uniform and I personally really liked it. You didn't have to think in the morning - you just got up and put it on. You didn't have to worry about wearing the same shirt twice, or not having the coolest clothes or whatever. It just made everyone equal.
